Fateh Sagar Lake: The Must Visit Place In Udaipur

The Fateh Sagar Lake is named after the Maharana Fateh Singh in Udaipur is an artificial manmade lake, earlier it was known as Connaught Dam as the Queen Victoria’s son, Duke of Connaught paid a visit in Dewali but later renamed. This lake was formerly constructed by Maharana Jai Singh 200 hundred years ago.

The Fateh Sagar Lake has a great scenic beauty. The lake is overlooked by the magnificent Aravalli Hills and the sunset is a mesmerizing view to watch from the banks. The lake has three small islands out of which the Nehru Park is one of the popular tourist spots that can be easily accessible through motor boats.
